今年五月,中国电竞战队RNG在英雄联盟季中冠军赛上赢得世界总冠军,让中国小伙伴激动不已。
没想到一个月之后,游戏成瘾就正式被归为了精神疾病,这可让不少网友都揪心起电竞行业的未来。
国外也有网友为游戏产业默哀的:“R.I.P游戏产业”。
所以,以后组个队吃个鸡,就成精神病患者聚会了吗??

定睛一看,“游戏障碍”好像并非游戏“成瘾”那么简单。
据BBC报道,6月18日,世界卫生组织将游戏障碍(Gaming disorder)加入ICD-11(《国际疾病分类》第十一次修订本)的精神与行为障碍章节之中。
Its 11th International Classification of Diseases (ICD) includes the condition "gaming disorder".
修订本描述,要诊断为“游戏障碍”,这种行为模式必须足够严重,且持续时间足够长:

It will suggest that abnormal gaming behaviour should be in evidence over a period of at least 12 months "for a diagnosis to be assigned" but added that period might be shortened "if symptoms are severe".
要确诊为“游戏障碍”,症状需要包括以下几点:
1. 对游戏失去控制力(频率、强度、持续时间等);·impaired control over gaming (frquency, intensity, duration)2. 游戏优先于其他生活兴趣和日常活动;·increased priority given to gaming3. 即使导致了负面影响,游戏行为仍在继续和升级。
·continuation or escalation of gaming despite negative consequences一些国家此前已经将游戏成瘾定为了严重影响公众健康的问题。
Some countries had already identified it as a major public health issue.
在很多国家,比如英国,就有不少“治疗”这一成瘾问题的私人心理诊所。
Many, including the UK, have private addiction clinics to "treat" the condition.
在BBC的采访中,伦敦南丁格尔医院的首席科技成瘾专家Richard Graham博士承认游戏成瘾情况存在。
Dr Richard Graham, lead technology addiction specialist at the Nightingale Hospital in London, welcomed the decision to recognise the condition.
他表示,自己每年都会接触到50多个新成瘾案例。他的诊断标准基于“游戏成瘾”是否严重影响到了患者睡眠、饮食、社交和教育等基本事项。
He said he sees about 50 new cases of digital addiction each year and his criteria is based on whether the activity is affecting basic things such as sleep, eating, socialising and education.
不过他还补充表示,这或许会让一些家长一脸懵圈。他们的孩子可能只是“热血游戏玩家”而已,远未达到精神障碍的程度。
"It could lead to confused parents whose children are just enthusiastic gamers."虽然世卫组织要出修正案,国外也有不少精神科专家对此提出了质疑。
据CNN报道,美国德克萨斯一家非营利精神健康诊所主任、执业心理医生Anthony Bean就反对将 “游戏障碍”列为国际疾病分类。
Anthony Bean, a licensed psychologist and executive director at The Telos Project, a nonprofit mental health clinic in Fort Worth, Texas, counts himself as a member of the camp that opposes inclusion of gaming disorder in the ICD.
“现在要把这种表现定义为诊断依据为时尚早。我是临床医师,也是研究员,所以我见过那些认为自己有游戏成瘾问题的玩家。”以他的经验来看,他们不过是把游戏当作了一种“应对焦虑或抑郁的机制。”
"It's a little bit premature to label this as a diagnosis," Bean said. "I'm a clinician and a researcher, so I see people who play video games and believe themselves to be on the lines of addicted." In his experience, they're actually using gaming "more as a coping mechanism for either anxiety or depression."“当焦虑和抑郁的心理问题得到解决后,这些玩家的游戏时间则会有显著下降。”
Bean said: "When anxiety and depression is dealt with, the gaming goes down significantly."他还表示,世界卫生组织在ICD(国际疾病分类)中用于定义“游戏障碍”的标准“过于宽泛”,同时游戏障碍的轻度、中度、重度表现也并未得到充分的描述。因此,他认为,要诊断一位病人是否患游戏障碍,就取决于“临床医生非常主观的个人经验”了。
The criteria being used by WHO to define gaming disorder in the ICD are "too broad," he said, while the mild, moderate or severe versions of the disorder have not been adequately delineated. Diagnosing a patient with gaming disorder, then, would be based on the "very subjective experience of clinicians," he said.
“更不用说,大多数临床医师可能都会承认,自己并不了解电子游戏是怎么回事,因为他们根本没有沉浸在游戏世界或体验过。”
"And even most clinicians would probably agree that they don't understand the concept for video games because they're not immersed in that world or experience," he added.
记得今年三月,北京大学新学期开设了一门有关电子游戏的选修课——《电子游戏通论》。当时可把国内爱玩游戏的小伙伴们激动坏了。
据报道,这门课程本来打算上限定为120人,结果一不小心就被选爆了,前两节课就大约吸引了200名学生。

据英国电竞新闻网站Esports Insider报道,腾讯近期与英国国际贸易部签署的战略合作备忘录显示,腾讯将会与牛津大学合作推出电竞课程和电竞赛事。
Tencent has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Department International Trade to bolster its relationship with the UK government. In doing so, University of Oxford will host tournaments and offer courses with a view to increasing the profile of esports, as well as bringing more talent into it.
不过,目前有关牛津的电竞课程详情和形式还没有公布。
While it’s known that esports courses will be available through the University, that exact offerings and topics are yet to be revealed.
